Whos That Girl? Blog Assignment #2
My Television show is a makeover show that not only gives contenders a glamorous new look but a new outlook on life! This show is teaching people that no matter what background or walk of life you come from that everyone can be successful. The show would introduce new role models to teenagers and preteens as well as give the contenders a lot of new self confidence.

Jergens would sponsor my television show because my show is promoting positivity, wellness, and renewal and that’s what their products do for people.
Finesse would sponsor my television show because a big concept of the show is putting your best foot forward and that’s what their products help you accomplish.
As a result of sponsoring my show the sponsors would receive publicity and further reputation as a product that helps people look their best and stay well. Publicity would be through product placement and cross promotion. The cross promotion would work well because the show and products complement each other.
I believe my idea speaks to their products and brands by building the confidence and self esteem that comes with the makeover it gives the person the confidence to go out and face the world and help them to look their best. By doing this it promotes the socially conscious side of the companies and this will help build costumer loyalty.

Happy Canada Day!

Happy Canada Day Everyone! I hope everyone had an amazing day, because I know that I did!
I spent the Day at Officers Square with Charles Barry and the rest of The Fredericton Civic Pride committee! There was some really great music! Scotty and The Stars kept the children all entertained! There was a reading tent, Kettle corn, Face painting, henna, tattoos, free Canada Day birthday cake, about six jumping castles, and much, more!
We handed out little flags, maple leaf posters, and Canada pins! It was so fun getting people in the spirit! And Panago Pizza was there, they had free pizza for the performers and volunteers! And I had a brief interview with Rogers TV who was broad casting live from the celebration.
Then, the afternoon soon turned gray…literally! The showers that had been going on throughout the day soon turned to steady rain. But Lucky for us most people stuck around. The music had to stop because of safety issues but the fire works that where planned for that night where still a go!
The fire works this year where put on by Remax and in my opinion was quite a bit better than most years. They where very patriotic with red and white! I watched the fire works with my family across the river.
Well, I hope everyone had an amazing Canada Day!
